Terms and Conditions

Expediciones Global SpA. (Chilean Agency) is the owner of the website www.expedicionesglobal.com  .It is a Company dedicated to receptive tourism in San Pedro de Atacama for more than 2 years in Chile. Expediciones Global SpA. carries out the tours, transfers with their own vehicles and their staff of tourism professionals.

Through our website, the user can manage reservations and purchases of tours directly in San Pedro de Atacama and surroundings.

By entering our website, to contract our services, the user understands and accepts these terms and conditions.

Expediciones Global SpA. informs that the services offered are provided directly by our company and sometimes by partner companies.

The User, at the time the reservation is made, will establish a direct contractual relationship with Expediciones Global SpA.

Reservation of Services.

All reservations for tours, transfers, programs and others are made exclusively through our website expedicionesglobal.com

It will be the sole responsibility of the User to correctly select the service and/or services to be booked, as well as the correct dates, times and number of passengers, with no possibility of refund or rescheduling in the event of a mistake.

All Reservations are subject to confirmation once the online payment has been made. The corresponding confirmation is sent within a period not exceeding 48 hours. Confirmations will be subject to the availability of seats, weather conditions and other reasons that affect the management of each reservation.

For reservations made less than 48 hours in advance, the confirmation will be sent before the arrival of the users. In the event that a Service cannot be confirmed for a requested date and/or time, the closest available dates and/or times will be offered as alternatives.

It will be the responsibility of the user to provide reliable passenger data, such as name, identification, address and mobile phone (whatsapp).

Use of services.

You can make use of the Services exclusively on the dates, times and places indicated in the Reservation confirmation email, there being no possibility of refund or rescheduling in case of no-show.

Program changes or refunds are strictly governed by the transportation law (Supreme Decree 212, art. 67) of Chile and this indicates that 85% of the value of the canceled or changed tour can be recovered as loable Expediciones Global SpA. 4 hours before the departure of the indicated tour, with the exception of early morning tours, in which case notice must be given before 8:00 p.m. the day before.

Cancellations.

Any cancellation or rescheduling must be requested by the User who made the reservation, by sending an email to expedicionesglobal@gmail.com

Expediciones Global SpA. may suspend a service due to weather conditions, force majeure, strikes, natural disasters, risks of landslides, unplanned closure of national parks, wind storms, etc.

Refunds:

The terms and ways in which refunds are processed by Expediciones Global SpA. are detailed below, which vary depending on the payment method used by the User at the time of booking:

  • WebPay (credit card): The refund will be reversed directly to the card, within 5 business days.
  • Redcompra (debit card): for payments made by debit cards issued in Chile, the reimbursement will be by bank transfer to a Chilean account, within a period of 4 business days.
  • PayPal: for payments made by credit and/or debit card through PayPal, the refund will be made to the same card with which the payment was made, within a period of 5 business days. Sometimes, PayPal may make the refund as a credit balance in the user’s PayPal account.
  • Mercado Pago: within a period of up to 15 business days. On occasions, Mercado Pago will make the refund as a credit balance in the user’s account in their account
  • Bank transfer and deposit in Chilean pesos: for payments made by bank transfer or deposit in Chilean pesos, the refund will be made by transfer to a bank account in Chile, within 4 business days.

Physical condition, clothing and equipment.

The restrictions and conditions that Users must comply with are indicated on the Website, along with the equipment and clothing that Users must wear for each Service. In the event that a passenger does not comply with the restrictions and conditions, or does not have the physical condition, clothing and/or equipment required for the use of a Service and this partially or totally prevents the use of the same, they will not there will be no refund or possibility of rescheduling the Reservation.

Entrance to parks and nature reserves.

The prices of the entrances to parks are not included in the values ​​of services or tour, and these are determined by the administration of the parks and are subject to changes without prior notice.

It is the passenger’s responsibility to be aware of the rules of each park and strictly comply with them.

Passenger liability

Passengers will be solely responsible for taking care of their gbelongings and personal belongings while using a Service; Expediciones Global SpA. will not be responsible under any circumstances for their loss.

Expediciones Global SpA. is not responsible for accidents resulting from passenger negligence. The telephones indicated by the passengers must be turned on for their best location, in case they are turned off at the time of picking them up at the hotel, Expediciones Global SpA. is exempt from responsibility.

Border crossing (Specials Tours out from Chile).

For a Service that considers a border crossing, it will be the responsibility of the Passengers to have the travel documents required according to their country of origin (travel document, immigration card, tourist visa, reciprocity fee, letter of invitation and/or criminal record certificate, as appropriate), be duly authorized to cross the border (without having an arraigo order or any other condition that prevents it) and, in case you are traveling with a minor, have all the documents and permits corresponding notaries. In the event that the Passenger cannot cross the border due to not complying with some of the a for emention points, there will be no possibility of carrying out the tour. Expediciones Global SpA. is not responsible. (Special Tours to Bolivia.)
